Kevin Biegel and Bill Lawrence are stepping back from their duties as the day-to-day showrunners of "Cougar Town," but they'll still be "actively involved" in the show....

"The trick to it is making it not that other shows are promoting us -- shows and other networks and studios don't generally like that -- but that we're promoting them," Lawrence says of the cast's cameos on other series....
